The air was festive last night at Moonlight & Mistletoe, the kickoff party for Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles’ Home for the Holidays Showhouse. Tucked away in the woods of Sandy Springs, the 5,500-square-foot house was full of merriment on a chilly evening.

The house is a collaborative effort between architectural designer Frank Heery of Harrison Design and 20 interior designers, including Beth Kooby, Chris Holt, Robin LaMonte, Jena Salmon, Grayson Pratt, and James Wheeler.

Upon entering the home, guests were greeted by the striking two-story great room, designed by Jena Salmon. There were passed glasses of sparkling wine and whiskey samples in the butler’s pantry provided by Stillhouse Spirits. Guests donned holiday attire, complementing the house’s holiday decor, like the stunning Christmas tree in the great room. Among the attendees were many representatives from the Atlanta design scene, including Tasha Norland of AmericasMart, Whitney Ray of Wyeth Ray Interiors, and Claire Ruhlin of Jaipur Living.

One of the most popular rooms in the house was the master bathroom designed by Tish Mills Kirk. The serene space features a large terrazzo shower, a ceiling-drawn bathtub, and a vanity that appears to be floating. “One of the reasons why it’s very detailed but it looks really effortless is because it was a true collaboration between everybody that was involved in it,” Mills Kirk told AD PRO.

There was no shortage of awe-inspiring details for the guests to enjoy. The laundry room, devised by Beth Kooby, glowed with matte gold botanical wallpaper that lined the ceilings and walls, as did the office tower with its own dedicated stairwell. Outside, the outdoor Christmas tree was a merry beacon, and the house almost seemed to glimmer.

The Home for the Holidays Showhouse is open through December 8. Tickets are available through the home’s website.
